29.10.2008 In line with the general trend towards increased liberalization in the ccTLDs world, also the Slovenian Registry is planning to drop the restrictions on .SI starting from 6 November 2008.
29.10.2008 In line with the general trend towards increased liberalization in the ccTLDs world, also the Slovenian Registry is planning to drop the restrictions on .SI starting from 6 November 2008.

From that date on, also foreign applicants will be allowed to register .SI domain names and the cap on the maximum amount of domains per registrant will be removed. Furthermore, it will be possible to register numeric-only .SI domains.

.SI has always been a very requested TLD, and this liberalization will finally make it possible for a larger number of customers to obtain the domain of their choice. For this reason, vda.hosting has decided to significantly lower its .SI price and run a Queue to collect pre-registrations and optimize as much as possible the launch.
